St. Lucia All-Inclusive 2026: The Family Trip That Does It All (Even Underwater)

August 22โ€“29, 2026 | A Group Adventure with OTD Kraken

Picture this: You wake up to the breathtaking silhouette of the Piton Mountains rising majestically from a glittering Caribbean Sea. Breakfast is already waiting. Your dive crew has your gear set up on a private boat. And by 9 AM, your family is watching sea turtles glide past a coral reef  or sipping coffee on the beach while your partner does exactly that.

This is St. Lucia. And this August, I'm partnering with Corey at OTD Kraken to bring a small group of families and adventurers to one of the most breathtaking dive destinations in the Caribbean Anse Chastenet Resort, rated among the top resorts in the Caribbean.

Whether your family are seasoned divers, total beginners, or proudly land-loving beach people, this trip was designed for all of you.

St Lucia 2026 AD 22AUG26

The Resort: Anse Chastenet, St. Lucia

This isn't your average all-inclusive. Anse Chastenet is a 600-acre estate nestled between the Pitons a UNESCO World Heritage site with some of the best reef diving in the entire Caribbean right off the beach. Guests from around the island actually travel to this reef. And for our group? It's steps from our front door.

The resort handles everything: meals, rooms, transportation, and an entire week's worth of activities. Non-drinkers and drink-package upgrades are both available, so everyone can customize their experience. What you won't have to do is plan a single thing once you arrive. That part? That's already done.

The Diving: Led by an Expert, Built for Every Level and Experienced Divers

Corey from OTD Kraken has led multiple group trips to Anse Chastenet, and it's easy to see why he keeps coming back. His group gets a dedicated private boat and crew for the entire week, meaning your dives aren't mixed in with strangers. It's your group, your pace, your experience.

Here's what the diving looks like:

  • 14 dives over 6 days (including 2 night dives)
  • Nothing goes below 60 feet (ideal for newer divers)
  • Dives run about 40โ€“45 minutes each, roughly 3 per day
  • Between dives, the crew handles all the gear (you surface, grab a pastry and some fruit, rest for an hour, and go again)
  • The best reef on the island is right at the resort a night dive there is something people talk about for years

After a dive, you come up to hot cocoa, hot towels, and a world-class dinner at the resort restaurant. Corey's words: "I had to apologize to my group because I spoiled them. This is not what diving is supposed to be like, this is just exceptional."

Not a Diver? You Still Belong on This Trip.

Here's what I love most about this particular trip: you do not have to dive to have an incredible week.

Previous non-diving guests on Corey's St. Lucia trips have hiked the Piton Mountains, visited an active volcano, done mud baths, explored the island's 600-acre cocoa plantation with a guided tour, and finished it all with a chocolate and rum tasting. Because yes, they make their own chocolate and rum right on the property.

You can also hop on the dive boat just to ride along and soak it all in from the surface. The point is, this trip flexes around your family, not the other way around.

Want to Learn to Dive Before You Go?

This is genuinely one of the best opportunities to get certified. Corey offers NAUI open water certification, and if you sign up for the trip, he offers a reduced rate on certification to help keep costs accessible. You complete your online coursework at home, finish your pool training locally, and arrive in St. Lucia ready to dive from Day 1. Corey has certified first-timers who showed up nervous, worked through it, and left St. Lucia as completely hooked divers. One woman had a full panic attack in the pool and went on to be one of the best divers of the trip!

If you've always been curious about scuba, this is your sign.
