About Sara

Hi, I’m Sara.
If you’re here, you’re likely a lot like me: a business owner with a big vision, a "Modern CEO" with a never-ending to-do list, and a person who treasures family time above everything else.
From Music Therapy to the Boardroom
My path to becoming an Operations Strategist wasn't exactly traditional. I started my career in Music Therapy, where I learned that the best solutions come from truly listening. That foundation led me into Senior Living leadership, where I spent years navigating the complex worlds of sales, marketing, and high-level operations.
In those executive roles, I saw firsthand how easily a "core mission" can get buried under the weight of digital friction and administrative noise. I realized that my real magic wasn't just in managing the systems—it was in reclaiming time for the people those systems served.
The Heart of the Magic
As my career grew, so did my family, and I found myself facing the same struggle many of my clients face today. I founded Sara Plans the Magic because I needed to give myself that time back. I wanted to find a better way to balance the work I love with the moments that matter most—like being fully present with my son, Cam.
Creating this business allowed me to build that harmony for myself, and now, it’s my mission to build it for you. Whether I’m auditing a CRM or designing a luxury itinerary, I’m doing it so you can step away from the screen and back into your own "magic" moments.
A Few of My Favorite Things
When I’m not deep in a HubSpot audit or curating an expedition, you can usually find me:
- At the Beach: It’s my ultimate place to recharge and find perspective.
- Planning a Disney Trip: Disney World is my absolute happy place (the logistics of a Disney day are a love language for me!).
- On a Run: Clear head, fresh air, and a good playlist are my self-care essentials.
- Fueling up on Mac & Cheese: In my house, it is officially its own food group.
- Life at Home: Spending time with Cam and our Corgi, Toby, keeps life adventurous and grounded all at once.
I’m a firm believer that life should have more wanderlust and less friction. I can’t wait to get to know you and hear about the magic you’re building.
